The hump day of the week. It is always a bit challenge to motivate yourself for a run. With current London weather condition, wet and windy run has never been my forte. Well, it isn’t cold at least.
The mid week run for me is all about interval or HIIT run so it can help me to increase my endurance and speed. I did exact that today with Peloton Guided Outdoor Run. I find coaches at Peloton does talk you through the steps and they constantly encourage you to give the best out of yourself. I also use Adidas Running App. It has audio feedbacks on my heart rate and pace. Nike Running App does the same thing without heart rate audio feedback.
One thing for beginner runners is that to remember. Press “START” is all you need to achieve. This will help you conquer the fear of not knowing your result. Therefore, please do congratulate yourself for start running. The rest is history. The after-run feeling is absolutely amazing!
Running is a slow progress, as well as gaining fitness. DO NOT compare your pace with everyone else’s. It is all about you and you can be as selfish as you want. If you don’t feel like running the fastest you want, it is okay. Your body will tell you what you could do or not on the day.
Listen to your body on the day and listen to your mind during the run.
If you would like to see my result of my run, I will post it in our forum.
