Nike Vaporfly NEXT%2

Today we see the official unveiling of the Vaporfly NEXT%2, Aurora Green via the Nike Japan website. Nike is preparing to release the silhouettes second iteration at the beginning of April in Japan, and later in other select regions. Although the silhouette remains the same as the first version, Nike have introduced a few updates to help the runner. The Nike ZoomX Vaporfly NEXT% 2 builds on the model racers love around the world. Nike have improved the comfort and breathability with a redesigned upper. 

A redesigned upper uses mesh fabric placed in areas where you need breathability. The result is a softer, cooler design that holds to your foot - accompanied with a reinforced forefoot to provide extra durability and secure comfort. Comfort has been the main focus for this new version, with an internal foam pod being added at the heel for extra cushioning and padding on the tongue to help reduce lace pressure. The laces, and the lace system have also been improved - the laces loop through side supports now and the laces have been updated to those used for the Alphafly. 

The shoe is set to release though Nike official website and App first, keep an eye on our page for updates. Feb 28 the white colourway was released exclusively to some NRC members for the chance to buy. In the mean time, have a look at the new Alphafly in a similar aqua colourway.
