Last January Nike put on their 2020 Forum - A runway show of their upcoming apparel and footwear. The show took place during the New York Fashion Week, during which Nike revealed that they had partnered with international fashion labels on upcoming lines. Brands such as Sacai, Off-White and UNDERCOVER were amongst some of the brands Nike collaborated with. A version of the Vaporfly NEXT% by UNDERCOVER was exhibited - we are yet to see this available to the consumer. The concept was that some of these new lines would feature during 2020 Summer Olympic Games in Tokyo. Who’d of thought, now over a year later we still haven’t seen some of the collections due to a global pandemic. 

Nike revealed some of their latest innovations for runners, such as the Nike Aeroswift material and of course the latest track and road running shoes. The NEXT% collection was on show for everyone to see - displaying Nike’s Ambition to engineer footwear for the best possible performance. Nike introduced the Air Zoom Viperfly, Air Zoom Victory, ZoomX Tempo NEXT%, ZoomX Tempo NEXT% FlyEase and of course, the Alphafly NEXT%. 

Alphafly NEXT% Valerian Blue was the first colourway available to the public later in 2020. Nike have since updated the shoe with 5 other colours, with even more on the way for 2021.
