Set small measurable and achievable goals each month

Today, I pushed for my 15K run so I can complete the 100K Jan Challenge. It is a achievable and measurable goal that I set for myself in January.

Throughout January (Lockdown 3 London), I have been working on my speed, endurance and strength on upper body. It has been paid off. I can see my pace on 15K and average pace was what I aimed to achieve at 5 Mins Per Kilometre. It was, for me, considered an easy run.

All small mileages runs had been added together to achieve the 100K without any major push.

During lockdown 3, many of my friends are struggling with their mental health and they are all getting bored. I have been telling everyone that they should focus on themselves. This is a perfect time to set small goals each week. This is a perfect time to work on yourselves without any external distractions.

I am happy to say that I have achieved my goal in January. I can pad my back and say well-done to myself. Let’s see what February can bring to me!

If you would like to see my result of my run, I will post it in our forum.
